To do so, thanks to different techniques we can facilitate activation and insights cognitive and affective achievement. Among the techniques used the following 1-soliloquies deserve special attention: technique of mobilization which consists of patient embodying one or several characters of the photos, express aloud what they are thinking or feeling those characters. You have to express themselves from the role that represents and not from your current position. This technique allows you to explore what projected on the other (induced role) and what identifies as its own (assumed role), along with the links associated with them. 2.

The photo essay: Once we have the photo strip, prompted the patient to make a story that includes all the photographic material provided, spinning different images. This technique allows the patient to be who emphasize charged times and soften the different periods of its life cycle. 3 Dramatizations: It consists of selecting a picture, which can be key or not, specialize it and translate it into a scene that it dramatizes. This resource achieves its maximum efficiency if we have I auxiliary (in group therapy) that allow to recreate the total scene. If we have them, the therapist can be included in the dramatization (psychodrama) 4.-request for complementary Series: at different times of the therapeutic process, can be used as a tactical resource, ask the patient to bring a certain series photo to allow more deeply explore a certain time or clarify some event: can be monographic subjects (my current family, women, and I(, etc.) or photos that complete any section of the life cycle of which we have no graphical constancy (grandparents, wedding, adolescence, etc.) 5 Photo Gallery: there are occasions in which the psychotherapeutic Dynamics stagnates or becomes repetitive, achieving only cognitive insights (the patient knows, but doesn’t feel) that the only thing make is to strengthen their defenses, slowing down the process of healing. The technique is to ask the patient making a current photo essay on any area or controversial topic that we want to mobilize. On one occasion he was treating a teenager of 16 years with a very troubled family relationships.

This we had to add that into little time that had been moved to live in a new city with the consequent I uprooted. The therapy was going very slowly and barely showed interest in anything. I suggested as a topic and title of the story my family. It showed between surprised and excited. The next day brought a series of 6 very significant photos by the absences of people, being the protagonist of all your dog (which I had no news of its existence), who had moved and projected all her affection. From there, his family issues, beginning to boost the therapeutic process was made evident. 6. Invisible photo: in essence consists in asking the patient who perform an exercise in imagination, asking that you imagine a picture that does not have but would like to have. This technique lets you explore the wishes, projections and depositaciones of the patient. On occasions, acting as real photos alibis or keys.
